Hampstead, NH, June 30 - National powerhouse New Jersey Wildcats come to New Hampshire to play the NH Lady Phantoms in USL-W league game. The match is on the 16th July at Dr. George Larkin field on the SNHU campus, kickoff is at 5 pm.
The Wildcats regularly send number of players to the national teams of USA, Canada and England. There were three players who took part in the friendly between the USA and Canada earlier in June - Cat Reddick and Heather O'Reilly led the United States past Karina LeBlanc and Canada 2:0. Despite missing couple of games because international duties O'Reilly is among the top scorers with 19 points (7 goals and 5 assists), Reddick and LeBlanc on the other side have played big role in the defense, which has conceded a single goal from 11 games so far. The New Jersey team has won all 11 games in the league, gaining the maximum of 33 points. The Wildcats have been on target 46 times.
The Wildcats recently signed England international Rachel Yankey. In her debut against the South Jersey Banshees last Wednesday she accounted for two goals and three assists for the 9:0 win. The team has also been ranked 4th in the latest women's world club rankings as released this week by the independent website Women's World Football. The Wildcats are currently the highest ranked team in North America. The game in Manchester will be an excellent opportunity for players and supporters to see evidently the best side in the country and learn something from that experience. The match is also a part of doubleheader - after it
the NH Phantoms entertain the Harrisburg City Islanders in a USL - Division II game. Kick off is at 7'30 pm.
