 Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - Nashville SC's quest to find the best EA Sports FIFA player in Tennessee comes to a close on Sunday, November 3 at the Tennessee EA Sports FIFA 20 Invitational Final, taking place in the Memorial Room at Alumni Hall on the campus of Vanderbilt University.
Doors open at 11 a.m. CT and the tournament matches begin at noon.
Over the last month, the club has held four qualifying tournaments across the state on college campuses in Murfreesboro, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Memphis. The top eight finishers at each qualifier earned a spot in the bracket at Sunday's Invitational Final.
The winner of Sunday's Invitational Final will receive $200 in FIFA Points and a pair of Nashville SC MLS Season Tickets for the 2020 season.
Some of the qualifier champions returning for the Invitational Final had remarkable runs in their qualifiers. Alejandro Tano (xTano7-_-) emerged from the loser's bracket to sweep the two-legged Grand Final in Murfreesboro. In Knoxville, Samuel Abraham (sammythebaconboy) went unbeaten all the way through the Grand Final. Rijad Jazic (Rijad_9) went 5-0 en route to a Grand Final win in Chattanooga. Last weekend at the final qualifier in Memphis, Noel Balderas (Noel) also went unbeaten on the way to claiming the top spot.
The public is invited to witness the thrilling action at the Invitational Final. In addition, Nashville SC's 2020 eMLS player Cormac "Doolsta" Dooley will also be in attendance to meet Nashville fans and hang out with the tournament players.
