Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - With two wins over other playoff teams last week, Nashville Soccer Club moved up to second in the latest USL Championship Power Rankings published by the league on Monday.
Nashville is in some of its best form of late with a five-match unbeaten streak and three consecutive wins. NSC passed Phoenix Rising FC of the West in the rankings to move from third to second and trails just Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at the top.
In its final regular season match of the season and with the potential of first place in the Eastern Conference at stake, Nashville SC will take on Atlanta United 2 at First Tennessee Park on Saturday night at 7 p.m. Riding a seven-match unbeaten streak themselves, Atlanta checks in at 10th in the Power Rankings, the highest it has been this season.
In the two-year history for the each franchise, Nashville and ATL UTD 2 have met four times with Nashville winning all four and not allowing a goal in any of the four matches.
