
Nashville Kats Acquire 11-Year Veteran, Make Practice Squad Moves

NASHVILLE- The Nashville Kats have acquired free agent OL/DL Kelvin Ingram, placed second-year WR Alonzo Nix on the practice squad and activated rookie FB Terrell Browden from the practice squad announced Head Coach/Dir. of Football Operations Pat Sperduto.
Ingram, (6-5, 285 Okla. State) comes to the Kats after last playing with the Arizona Rattlers, playing in four games in 2007. An AFL journeyman, Ingram is an experienced asset to the Kats who has played with five teams throughout his career amassing 88 career tackles and 14 sacks.
Nix, (6-1, 190 Tenn.-Chattanooga) in his second season with the Kats and in 2007, is the team's fourth-leading receiver, recorded 16 catches for 213 yards and one touchdown. Limited by injuries, Nix has only played in four games registering three starts.
Browden, (6-3 265 Southern Miss.) came to the Kats before the team's Week 3 contest, starting 2007 with the Colorado Crush. As a senior at Southern Miss., Browden was a Second-Team All-Conference USA selection after starting every game at fullback.
