Nashua Silver Knights Promote BJ Neverett, JP Pyne, & Matt Berthiaume

Nashua, NH - The Silver Knights are pleased to announce that 2012 Field Manager BJ Neverett has been promoted to Vice President of Player Development and Assistant Manager, JP Pyne to Field Manager and Matt Berthiaume to Director of Marketing and Ticket Operations.

Neverett played a role in both championship seasons for the Silver Knights following seventeen years as manager for Nashua High School and Nashua South.

"BJ has shown us a knack for finding premier talent for our rosters these past two years," said Silver Knights President Tim Bawmann. "This promotion is a reward for his previous accomplishments with us and I am excited to see what kind of talent he'll find for us in the coming seasons."

Pyne served as Pitching Coach for the 2012 FCBL Champions. Pyne is also in his fifth season as Head Coach at Daniel Webster College.

"JP is a real player's manager. He had great control of not only his pitching staff last year but the entire team," said Bawmann. "You could tell by the way the players respected and responded to him. We know he will do an incredible job as Manager for the Silver Knights."

On the front office side, Berthiaume served as the 2012 Food and Beverage Manager for the Silver Knights. The lifelong Nashua resident and recent graduate of Nichols College was a Public Relations intern of the Lowell Spinners in 2011 before taking on his full time roll with Nashua in April of 2012.

"Last year was Matt's first full season in baseball, and he thrived in an unfamiliar role," said Bawmann. "I am excited about moving him to a position that as plenty of room for growth."
