
NAHL leading scorer Mike Ruberto signs with Canisius College

The Cleveland Barons Hockey Club of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce that Mike Ruberto has committed to Canisius College of the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
Ruberto, the 6'1", 200lb left winger from Stoney Creek, Ontario, was the NAHL's leading scorer this past season with 39 goals and 33 assists for 72 points in 56 games. Ruberto also led the with 18 power play goals. Mike Ruberto along with Brian Bicek and Jason Weeks formed one of the top lines in all of junior hockey.
Barons Head Coach/GM Tim Alexander had this to say:'' Mike is a gifted goal scorer, who just got better and better as the season progressed. Mike's contributtion to the revival of the Barons was greatly appreciated. Canisius is receiving a power forward that can make a big splash for their program. I wish Mike all the best."
