
Mystics Sign Elissa Cunane to Training Camp Contract

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Mystics General Manager Mike Thibault announced today that the team has signed center Elissa Cunane to a training camp contract.
The Summerfield, N.C., native has appeared in 13 games for Zabiny Brno of the Czech Women's Basketball League (Czech Republic) during the 2023-24 season, averaging 14.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting .694 from the field.
Cunane (6-5, 191) was on the roster of the Minnesota Lynx for the 2022 season. The North Carolina State product was selected with the 17th overall pick by the Seattle Storm in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
