
Murray rejoins Silverbacks

The Bird is back in his roost at Hobart Arena.
George "Bird" Murray has signed with the Miami Valley Silverbacks, the team announced this morning. Murray had been signed in the offseason by the South Georgia Wildcats of the A2.
"He's a great player," Silverbacks coach and general manager Carl Allen said. "He's very exciting to watch and is a great pick up for us. "He's a huge addition for us. He is an explosive player and we are glad to have him back."
Murray led the Silverbacks last season with 46 catches for 628 yards and 18 touchdowns.
The Silverbacks return to action Saturday night when they host rival Marion at 7:30 p.m. at Rapid Fire Field at Hobart Arena. Tickets are still available at the Hobart Arena box office or online at www.hobartarena.com.
