Mumm and Barns Place Wager about Outcome of Tonight's Explosion and Chill Game

Monroe, Washington - Edmonton Chill owner Troy Barns and Snohomish County Explosion owner Nathan Mumm had sharp words with each other Saturday after a close win for Alberta on Friday night. Troy Barns made and announcement on the radio broadcast and to key fans that he guaranteed that his team will win both games in Edmonton against the 2007 IBL Western Conference Champions Explosion.

"After talking with Troy for about 40 minutes on the phone we have a lot in common and look forward to growing this relationship between the Chill and Explosion for years to come" Mumm said about the conversation. "We were in the game all night and to make a prediction like this might come back to bite him in the butt sooner then later."

"I asked Troy if he was willing to make a bet that will affect him in the IBL Western Conference Tournament and he said he was willing to up the ante. Tonight game's outcome is what the wager is on and it is a straight up winner takes all. I know that our fans are by far more intense then the Chill's fans. said Nathan Mumm "We have wagered that the loosing owner will wear the other teams' jersey during the Western Conference Playoff's and when we win he will be sending over 10lbs of Alberta's best beef. If the Explosion some how do not come up with a win then Washington Best Apples will be shipped out to Troy." The Only qualifier is that games is officiated correctly so more than a five foul discrepancy between any of the teams voids the wager. The IBL officiating for both teams have been a concern during the year.
