BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs continue their quest for the President's Cup this weekend when they begin the second round of the CHL playoffs against the Tulsa Oilers at the CenturyTel Center. Join in the playoff excitement for Games 1 and 2 of the best-of-five series tomorrow and Saturday at 7:05 pm!
The ¬ËBugs and Oilers embark on the second round of the postseason as both clubs work toward a berth in the Berry Conference Finals, where they would face the winner of Allen vs. Odessa in the other conference semifinal. Bossier-Shreveport is looking to advance to the conference finals for the second consecutive season, while Tulsa is back on the upswing after getting their first playoff series win since 1994 in the Opening Round.
Remember to bring your "Teal Towel" to this weekend's games to keep up our new playoff tradition and help turn the CenturyTel Center into a house of horrors for Tulsa! If you didn't get in on the "Teal Towel" tradition during the first round or if you want to buy more, it's not too late to get them in the second round! The teal rally towels, which are sponsored by Community Trust Bank, will be available at this weekend's games while supplies last and can be purchased for just $2.00 each at the Gateway Tire Fan Services Center inside the main CenturyTel Center entrance.
Mudbugs playoff ticket package holders are reminded to use their tickets marked "Playoff Game D" for tomorrow's game and "Playoff Game E" for Saturday's contest. We're also hosting a public skating session following Friday's game only for a cost of just $6.00 including skate rental. Tickets can be purchased at the Gateway Tire Fan Services Center.
