BOSSIER CITY, LA - Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs hockey is back on the local airwaves this season with "The Home of the Legends" AM 1130 KWKH and News Radio 710 AM KEEL returning to carry all the action once again during the 2010-11 Central Hockey League season. Also back to bring you all the goals, hits, saves and fights this season is play-by-play announcer and 2010 CHL Broadcaster of the Year Travis Huntington.
The Mudbugs are proud to partner with Town Square Media (formerly known as GAP Broadcasting) again this season to air Mudbugs hockey on longtime radio homes KWKH and KEEL, which have now carried the games for 11 consecutive seasons. Both opening weekend games against the rival Mississippi RiverKings can be heard on KEEL this Friday and Saturday.
"The Home of the Legends" AM 1130 KWKH is your home for sports in the Ark-La-Tex, bringing you the Mudbugs, the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers and Byrd High School football in addition to playing all the best classic country music. News radio 710 AM KEEL is your most dependable local news source and also broadcasts Sunday NFL games and Arkansas Razorback football in addition to Mudbugs hockey.

Back behind the microphone for his fourth season in Bossier-Shreveport is play-by-play broadcaster Travis Huntington. Huntington was named the 2010 CHL Broadcaster of the Year in June after being nominated for the award in each of his first two seasons with the 'Bugs. He also provided radio play-by-play for the 2009 CHL All-Star Game in his home state of Colorado.
The Mudbugs 2010-2011 season starts Friday against the Mississippi RiverKings at the CenturyTel Center.
