Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release

BOSSIER CITY, LA - With the Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Finals tied at one game apiece, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will look to embrace home-ice advantage with three games this week at the CenturyTel Center. Game 3 of the CHL's Championship series, presented by Harrah's Louisiana Downs, is set for tomorrow night at 7:05, with Games 4 and 5 to follow on Thursday and Friday at the CTC.

After a narrow 3-2 overtime defeat in Game 1 of the best-of-seven series last Friday night, the Mudbugs responded Saturday in Game 2 with goals from five different players and 33 saves from John DeCaro in a 5-3 victory to even the series. Riding a four-game home winning streak into Game 3, the ‚¬ËœBugs will be looking to take a 2-1 series lead in front of their home fans tomorrow night at the CTC.

As we start our 2011-12 season ticket drive during this week's home games, don't miss two great ticket offers! We're starting our season ticket drive with a bang this year by giving away three FREE season tickets for our 15th anniversary season at each of this week's three home games during the Presidents' Cup Finals.

Tomorrow night is also your first opportunity buy season tickets for next year! Whether you're a longtime season ticket holder or interested in buying for the first time, you'll have the chance to get a special rebate on your tickets when you put down a $50.00 deposit this week. If we get to 1,200 season ticket deposits for 2011-12 by the end of Game 5 on Friday night, we'll give you back that deposit once your season tickets are paid in full!

To reserve your seats and enter to win season tickets for next year, simply fill out the flyer on your seat with your personal information and drop it off at the Gateway Tire Fan Services Center inside the main CenturyTel Center entrance. Current season ticket holders will be receiving full renewal packages in the coming weeks, but can start the process by returning their completed flyer at this week's games.

The Mudbugs are also encouraging fans to bring donations for "Operation Appreciation" to this week's games. The program collects items to send in Fourth of July care packages to United States service men and women around the world; sending everything from phone cards and dental floss to magazines and beef jerky to our troops overseas.
