Series Note: Five of the 15 all-time playoff match-ups between the Eagles and Mudbugs have been decided in overtime.

Series Notes

-The Mudbugs head home on a five-game home winning streak with the last time they played at the CenturyTel Center being Game 5 of the conference finals in which they defeated the Allen Americans advancing to the Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Finals.

-The two teams have combined to go 1 for 20 with the man advantage with Bossier-Shreveport going 1 for 12 and Colorado going 0 for 8.

-The team that has scored first has won each of the first two games. During the post-season, the Mudbugs are 7-3 when scoring first and the Eagles are 8-2. Daymen Rycroft scored the game's first goal in Game 1 for Colorado and Brett Smith (just 30 seconds into the opening period) netted the first strike in Game 2.

-Riley Nelson has three goals and three assists in his last six games getting his hand in on six of the Eagles last seven scores. Nelson is tied for the league post-season lead with 20 points (10-10=20) and is tied for the league lead with his 10 goals. Nelson has scored goals in three straight games.

-Bossier-Shreveport's Jeff Kyrzakos is tied for the league-lead with 10 goals in the playoffs which ties a franchise record (John Vecchiarelli, 1999). Kyrzakos has three goals in his last four games and leads all skaters in the playoffs with six PP goals.

-Over the last 10 years, the team that has won Game 3 has won the Cup just five times.

-Rookie Adam Chorneyko (COL) and amateur Nick Layton (BOS) lead all players with a +12 in the playoffs. Layton has assists in each of the Mudbugs last four games and is on a five-game point streak (six points during his streak).

-Bossier-Shreveport defenseman Simon Mangos had a goal and an assist in Game 2 and is the top scoring d-man in the playoffs with 13 points (3-10=13). Colorado's Aaron Schneekloth is tied for second among blue liners with 11 points (3-8=11).

-The Eagles and Mudbugs are combining to average just over 28 penalty minutes per game in the playoffs with Colorado averaging 13 minutes per game and Bossier-Shreveport just over 15 minutes per game.

-The Mudbugs are 10 for 36 on the power play on home ice, a 27.8% success rate. Conversely, the Eagles are 4 for 27 with the man advantage on the road (14.8%).

-With their overtime win in Game 1, the Eagles are 3-1 in the post-season in extra time. The ‚¬ËœBugs are 1-3 in OT games in this season's playoffs.

-Bossier-Shreveport is 9-0 when leading after two periods during the 2011 post-season and have trailed just one time after 40 minutes.
