Today's Game- Batavia heads back out on the road for the first of a three game series in Morgantown with the West Virginia Black Bears. They have split the season series so far at 3-3, with Batavia taking the last series at Dwyer Stadium 2-1.
That was last night- The Muckdogs surrendered a five-run seventh inning to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers last night. Batavia nearly came all the way back putting up four runs in the bottom of the ninth, including a two-run shot from Sean Reynolds that cleared the batters eye in center. The Muckdogs did take the series however, two games to one.

Donadio digging in- Michael Donadio has now hits in 18 of his last 23 games. He's tallied 28 hits, two home runs and has crossed the plate nine times in that span. He is second on the team with four home runs. He left St. John's with the second most all-time hits with 268.
Reynolds Raking- Sean Reynolds has been able to find the power in his bat this season. He currently leads the league in home runs, RBI's and also leads the league in runs scored. He is also the league leader in walks with 32. Reynolds currently stands in second in the NYPL in extra-base hits
Close Calls- Batavia has played a total of 47 games this season, 28 of which have been decided by two runs or less. The Muckdogs are 14-14 in those games. Batavia has the fourth best reord in one-run games, and the worst record in two-run games at 2-6.
