Mother Nature controls Pioneers game
Coming off a two game winning streak the Pioneers looked to take on the Newark Pilots in a 7:05 start. With players warming up and amped to continue the winning steak Mother Nature had a different idea for the night. After pouring for over a half an hour the Pioneers canceled the game due to whether.
The Pioneers return to action at Dunn Field Wednesday June 15th taking on the Amsterdam Mohawks. Wednesday night's game is Bark in the Park sponsored by the Chemung County SPCA. Fans can bring their dogs to play in the picnic area during the game. Be sure to bring your rabies certificate if you plan on bringing your dog.
The Pioneers will continue the action with a double header starting at 5:05pm Saturday June 18th taking on the Newark Pilots. Next Saturday is Spectacular Saturday which will bring the excitement of the "Lucky Fan" giveaway where there is a chance to win a DVD Player, HD TV, restaurant certificates and more. Stick around after the game for the Party in the Park Concert series featuring Inward.
