Morgan and Baker Return to Sundogs

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs announced today they have resigned veteran forwards, Jason Morgan and Kevin Baker for the upcoming 2013-14 Central Hockey League Season.
Morgan, the 36-year-old, Newfoundland native joins the team for his second season as the Sundogs' Team Captain. He was among the top three scorers for the Sundogs tallying 18 goals and 28 assists in 66 games. His longest scoring streak came in December and January when he registered 16 points in 10 games. Morgan celebrated his 1,000th professional game played on March 26, 2013, having played for teams such as the Los Angeles Kings, Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild and the Chicago Blackhawks.
When asked why he decided to return, Morgan expressed, "I love the commitment of the team, ownership and fans. I'm excited about next year and making it to the playoffs and winning that championship. My family loves Arizona and the fans are great here. The ownership and management have been great to my family and I, I can't thank them enough."
Baker joined the Sundogs late in the season but quickly proved to be a tremendous presence on the ice. In 10 games he collected eight goals and six assists, registering eight of those points in his first two games. The Kingston, Ontario native has played professionally for twelve seasons and has collected 242 goals and 252 assists in 522 games.
