Jamestown Ironmen News Release
The Jamestown Ironmen will square off against the Soo Eagles in a best-of-five series to determine the North Division Champion.
This series, the North Division Finals, is part of the North American Hockey League Playoffs. Neither of the two teams wasted any time getting to this point as they both swept their respective opponents in only three games in the previous Semi Final round.
The first seeded Eagles, won six of eight games against the number two seed, Ironmen throughout the regular season. The Soo finished the season with a 41-14-5 record while Jamestown ended up going 37-19-4.
The Eagles will open up the series on home ice at Pullar Stadium in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan this weekend. Game one is scheduled for this Friday (4/26) at 7:30pm and Game two set for Saturday (4/27) at 7:30pm.
The following week, the series will shift to Jamestown for Games three and four, scheduled to take place at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena. Puck drops for Game three on Thursday, May 2nd at 7pm. If necessary, Game four is set for Friday, May 3rd at 7pm. The Ironmen will travel back to the Soo if there is a need for a Game five; the date and time for that game is to be determined.
