Michigan Warriors Announce College Commitment
April 22, 2013 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Michigan Warriors News Release
The Michigan Warriors, members of the North American Hockey League, are proud to announce that Brock Labelle will continue his hockey career while attending Castleton State College of Vermont.
Castleton plays out of the ECAC East division and finished the 2012-13 season with a record of 15-10-2.
Labelle, the Holland, OH native, came to the Michigan Warriors as a free agent in 2012-13, after spending two seasons with the Georgetown Radiers (OJHL).
Labelle put up 8 goals and 13 assists in the 2012-13 campaign with the Warriors, good enough for fourth on the team in scoring. Labelle is the third Michigan Warrior to commit from the 2012-13 roster. Levi Erkkila (Northern Michigan, D1) and Corey Schueneman (Western Michigan, D1) are the others.
Labelle is the 18th Warriors player to continue their hockey career at the NCAA level in the team's three year history.
