Jacksonville Barracudas News Release
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Barracudas today announced that Saturday's game with the Lakeland Loggerheads has been moved up to 2:05pm because of the Monster Truck Show at Alltel Stadium.
"We were informed that there are not enough parking spots available at the Sports Complex to host both events," Woody Carlson, Director of Communications said. "With the help of SMG, we moved our game up to 2:05pm to compensate for the parking dilemma."
This week, the first-place Barracudas wrap up their longest home stand of the season with games on Tuesday night against Alabama. Face-off time is 7:05pm. On Thursday night, the Cudas battle the Macon Trax. Face-off time is 7:05pm. Thursday night is Navy Night as the Barracudas salute the U.S. Navy and all the Men and Women serving and protecting our great country. The Navy Band will play live at the game and $1.00 from every ticket sold will go to Navy Relief. Tickets for Navy personnel, active, inactive, retired military and their families are just $5.00 and are available at the ITT Offices on NAS Jax and Naval Station Mayport.
On Saturday, the Barracudas wrap up six-in-a-row at home against the Lakeland Loggerheads. Face-off time is now 2:05pm.
The Barracudas (28-13-1, 57 points) have an eight point lead over second place Orlando, a nine point lead over third place Miami, and a 10 point lead over fourth place Alabama. With 17 games to play, the Barracudas magic number is 12 to clinch a play-off spot.
