Brevard County Manatees News Release


The Brevard County Manatees end the home stand tonight with a DH against the Daytona Cubs at 5:05 pm; have an off day tomorrow, and then travel to Daytona Beach to play the Cubs on Monday night.

We've had a few requests for carpooling to Daytona Beach (one hour drive) on Monday for the Doubleheader. If you are interested in going to the DH Monday night and can drive, please let us know this weekend.

The DH is a $10 night in Daytona. One price ($10) gets you into the ballpark and your food and drinks (soft drinks) are free, similar to our Belly Buster Night.

This will be the Manatees final trip to Daytona Beach this season.

The Manatees have one final home stand remaining after tonight's action:

Thursday, September 2nd - Sunday, September 5th.

THU, 9/2: Vero Beach Dodgers, 7:05 pm Publix Thursday. Present a Publix ® cash register receipt at the ticket window and receive $2 off all of your ticket purchases (up to four tickets).

FRI, 9/3: Vero Beach Dodgers, 7:05 pm Broken Bat Night (first 200 fans) & AllStar Corporate Media, Inc's Tim Raines Poster Night (first 1000 fans in the gate).

SAT, 9/4: Vero Beach Dodgers, 7:05 pm Uncut Card Sheet Night (first 500 fans) & Post-Game Fireworks sponsored by the Space Coast Early Intervention Center (SCEIC). Box and Reserved Seat Tickets are $7 and include a bonus game ticket to the Sunday season finale.

SUN, 9/5: Palm Beach Cardinals, 1:35 pm McDonald's Youth Sports Sunday. All kids 12 and under in team uniform will be admitted free. Free food coupons for all fans from McDonald's.

And that will close out the 2004 Brevard County Manatees baseball season.
