MONARCHS NOTES: ƒá The Monarchs outscored Connecticut 30-to-26 in the paint and 17-to-10 in second chance points. ƒá Sacramento had 15 offensive rebounds as compared to Connecticut¡¦s five. ƒá Rebekkah Brunson had her first double-double of the season for a game-high 19 points (8-of-12 shooting), 10 rebounds and two blocks. ƒá Ticha Penicheiro had a game-high eight assists.

SUN NOTES: ć Connecticut finished off their five game road trip winning 3-of-5. ć With the win tonight, the Sun have a winning record of 5-3 when playing in Sacramento winning four of the last five match-ups. ć The Sun took the lead with 6:51 left in the first quarter and held it for the rest of the game. ć Connecticut outscored the Monarchs in all four quarters. ć Three players from Connecticut scored in double figures: Barbara Turner had 12 points (3-of-6 from the three point line); Asjha Jones had 14 points (6-of-11 shooting), and Amber Holt had 10 points (5-of-7 shooting).
