
Moller Joins the AHL Manchester Monarchs

Chilliwack BC - The Chilliwack Bruins would like to congratulate forward Oscar Moller on being called up to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. Moller has signed an amateur tryout agreement, which allows him to play for the Monarchs now that his season with the Bruins is complete.
Moller, 19, has just completed his second season with the Bruins. The native of Spanga, SWE, has scored 71 goals and 80 assists for 151 points in 131 games with the Bruins.
'We are excited for Oscar that he has been presented with the opportunity to be called up by the Monarchs,' comments Bruins GM Darrell May. 'This opportunity will allow Oscar to gain valuable experience playing at the next level and will help him in his goal to one day play in the National Hockey League..'
The Monarchs are the AHL affiliate club of the Los Angeles Kings. Moller was drafted by the Kings in Round 2 of the 2007 NHL Draft, 52nd overall.
