HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Mar. 21) – Gerald Walker scored 13 points including five in the double-overtime period to lift Mobile to a 93-87 victory over Huntsville here Friday night at the Von Braun Center.

The win, coupled with an Asheville Altitude loss, catapulted the Revelers (25-24) into the final NBDL playoff spot along with Fayetteville, Roanoke and North Charleston.

Ernest Brown led four Revelers in double figures with 21 points, while Rod Grizzard added 20 and Derek Hood poured in 11.

"We are happy to get the win," Reveler coach Sam Vincent said. "It was a tough game and we showed a lot of heart tonight."

With the score tied at 71 at the end of regulation and 80 at the end of the first overtime period, it took the teams over three minutes in the second overtime to score. Mobile finally broke the deadlock with a layup from Brown at 1:51 remaining and then got a three-point play from Walker 33 seconds later as the Revelers scored seven of the first eight points.

The Revelers also converted 7-of-8 free throws in the double overtime including two apiece from Hood and Grizzard in the final 10 seconds to help pull away from the Flight.

The Flight got 24 points and 17 rebounds from Art Long, while Jermaine Walker tallied 21 points and Brandon Williams added 13.

"I thought we played hard as a team and it was a good basketball game," Flight coach Ralph Lewis said. "We made some plays down the stretch but did not make some others, which was the difference in the game."

The Revelers finish their regular season at Roanoke Saturday with a 7 p.m. ET contest. The Flight end their season with a home contest against North Charleston. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m CT.
