MLS Issues Disciplinary Committee Decisions

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimović in violation of the League's policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. Ibrahimović has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 54th minute of the Galaxy's match against Toronto FC on September 15 (VIDEO).

Real Salt Lake forward Joao Plata was found guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 79th minute of RSL's match against Minnesota United FC on September 15 . The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Plata an undisclosed fine.

New England Revolution defender Antonio Mlinar Delamea was found guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 56th minute of New England's match against the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) on September 15. The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Delamea an undisclosed fine.

D.C. United forward Luciano Acosta was found guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 90+ minute of D.C. United's match against the New York Red Bulls on September 16. The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Acosta an undisclosed fine.
