MLS Disciplinary Committee Fines New England's Toja and Chivas USA's Fleita

NEW YORK (March 21, 2013) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined New England Revolution midfielder Juan Toja an undisclosed amount for embellishment intended to deceive the referee in the 42nd minute of the game against Philadelphia Union on March 16.

The Committee also fined Chivas USA assistant coach Walter Fleita $500 for irresponsible behavior in the technical area during the game against LA Galaxy on March 17. Fleita's dismissal from the sideline in the 84th minute carries an automatic one-game suspension and $500 fine, so he will serve the suspension during Chivas USA's match against Chicago Fire on Sunday, and his total fine is $1,000.
