MLS Disciplinary Committee Decisions: Week 1

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended LA Galaxy midfielder Jermaine Jones for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent in the 17th minute of the Galaxy's match against FC Dallas on March 4 (VIDEO). Jones will serve the suspension during the Galaxy's next match on Sunday, March 12 against the Portland Timbers.

Additionally, LA Galaxy defender Dave Romney has been found guilty of embellishment during the 52nd minute of the Galaxy's match against FC Dallas (VIDEO). The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Romney for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for his actions. Romney will serve the suspension during the Galaxy's next match on Sunday, March 12 against the Portland Timbers.
