
Mitchell Named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Oshawa Generals forward Dale Mitchell is the OHL Player of the week for the week ending January 21, 2007. Mitchell scored five goals and added five assists for 10 points in three games.
On January 19, Mitchell scored three goals including the game winner and had two assists totaling five points as Oshawa defeated the Windsor Spitfires 7-5 at home. Mitchell was named first star of the game for his efforts. Two nights later Mitchell once again had a five-point night scoring two goals and for the second time in a week scored the game winning goal. He also added three assists and was named the game's first star as the Generals defeated the Toronto St. Michaels's Majors 8-6 at the General Motors Centre.
Mitchell, a native of Mississauga currently has 31 goals and 23 assists for 54 points in 44 games this season.
