
Mississippi's Zultek Suspended Seven Games

CHARLOTTE, NC - The SPHL today announced that Mississippi forward Matt Zultek has been suspended seven games for his actions in the game against Huntsville on Sunday, February 13.
At 19:15 of the first period, Zultek cross-checked a Huntsville player in the back, knocking him to the ice. He then delivered a second cross-check to the back of the head of the Huntsville player, who was prone on the ice and unable to defend himself. For his actions, Zultek was assessed a match penalty for cross-checking.
Zultek will miss Mississippi's games against Louisiana (February 16), Huntsville (February 18), Columbus (February 19), Huntsville (February 20), Knoxville (February 25 and 26) and Louisiana (March 2).
