FRISCO-The Roughriders captured three of the four games in the series by taking the finale, 8-4, Saturday night at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.

Cal Quantrill lasted only four innings in his start.

Frisco roughed up the right-hander for 10 hits and seven runs, including a pair of two-run homers. The hit total matched Quantrill's career high.

Austin Allen and Josh Naylor homered for the Missions.

Allen's two-run blast was his 17th longball of the year, while Naylor hit a solo shot in the ninth inning. It was his 13th of the season.

The Roughriders, who have won six of the last nine in the head-to-head series, finished with 17 hits to match the most allowed in a game by San Antonio this season.

Quantrill saw his 2nd-half ERA balloon to 7.40.

The former first-round pick finished the first half by recording a 1.78 ERA in his final five starts.

The Missions open a four-game homestand against Midland tonight.
