Miracles Release Cornelius Vines

November 22, 2013 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Moncton Miracles News Release

The Moncton Miracles organization has announced the release of Combo Guard, Cornelius Vines. The release of Vines comes after the eighth Miracles game in the 2013 / 2014 season. The organization is focused on building a competitive Team for the Community.

"Vines is a solid person on and off the court. Management and I discussed the areas on the court we needed to improve and one of the areas is bringing in another Big. We have a solid rotation with Oliver, Trayvon and our shooters that unfortunately it's a numbers game. With the D-League draft ending on the 25th, we are going to be adding another player to the roster while on our Ontario Trip" said Dennis Truax, Head Coach.

This evening (November 22nd ) at 7PM, the Moncton Miracles will be holding "Basketball 101" on court at the Moncton Coliseum. This is an excellent opportunity for basketball lovers who are just getting to know the sport to come and learn from the players and coaches. It is a 19 and older event, and free for all attendees. The event will be followed by a reception at Maverick's Steakhouse, where there will be specials on drinks and appetizers from 8-10 PM. The Miracles play their next home game on December 12th .

This game will be designated as the Christmas game, and will be a great way to kick-off the Holiday Season with Miracles Basketball.
