Miracles Isaac Butts Named the Recharge with Milk Player of the Week

(Moncton, NB) The National Basketball League of Canada has announced that Miracles Isaac Butts was named the Recharge with Milk Player of the Week for the week ending March 3, 2013. This is the second time this season that Butts has received this honor.

Butts, a 6'10 centre from Milledgeville, Georgia who played his college career at Appalachian State, scored the first triple-double in the NBL this season, when he scored 23 points, pulled down 20 rebounds and blocked 10 shots in Moncton's last home game of the season against the Halifax Rainmen.

"With the numbers that Isaac has been putting up this season he has real NBA potential," said Miracles Head Coach Dennis Truax "He is currently leading the league in double doubles this season and is averaging 13.76 points per game and 10.31 rebounds per game, which is a tremendous accomplishment."
