(LONDON, ON) The Moncton Miracles lost to the London Lightning at the John Labatt Centre with a final score of 124-113.
The Lightning had an early control of the game and ended up the first quarter up 43-19.
Moncton managed to put up a fight against the top ranked London team outscoring them in the second and fourth quarter but the push was not enough to make up for the first quarter.
Akeem Wright was the top scorer for the Miracles with 22 points followed by Jazzmarr Ferguson with 19 points. DeAnthony Bowden led the way for the Lightning with 26 points. Tim Ellis pitched in with another 20 points for London.
The Miracles play their next game on the road against the Saint John Mill Rats on Sunday, January 22nd, 2012. Game time is 2:00pm at the Harbour Station.
