(MONCTON, NB) The Moncton Miracles beat the Summerside Storm at the Moncton Coliseum with a final score of 103-97.
The first quarter ended with the Miracles having a 31-23 lead that they were able to hold on to until the end of the game. Summerside battled hard and was able to tie the score on several occasions but could not hold on for long.
Darrell Wonge was the top scorer for the Miracles with 31 points. Sylvania Watkins followed with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Mike Williams, Al Stewart, Stephen McDowell, and Julian Allen all put up 14 points for the Storm.
The Miracles play their next game on the road against the Summerside Storm on Thursday, February 16th, 2012. Game time is 7:00pm at the Credit Union Place.
