SARASOTA -- The Miracle are now tied with the Charlotte Stone Crabs at the top of the FSL South division once again after Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Sarasota Reds.

Deolis Guerra (2-2) took the loss with a line of 4 IP, 11 H, 6 R (all earned), 2 BB, and 3 SO, including a four-run output by the Reds in the bottom of the first capped with a Denis Phipps two-run home run down the left field line.

Steve Hirschfeld and Alex Burnett threw a scoreless four innings in relief, but a two-run rally in the eighth came up short for Fort Myers (16-10) against Sarasota (9-17).

Travis Webb (1-2) recorded the win for the Reds with three hits, three runs, six walks, and four strikeouts in five innings. Ben Davis picked up his fourth save.

There were no multi-hit performances at the plate as the offense cooled to just five hits, and Joe Benson had the only extra-base hit with a double in the eighth. The Miracle stranded ten on base.

David Bromberg (2-0, 2.88) starts in Thursday's 7:05 p.m. contest against the St. Lucie Mets back at Hammond Stadium. It will be the first of a three-game set.
