Minot, ND ... December 3, 2007 The Minot Skyrockets are looking for local investors to take the team to the next level. After completing their first season with a 31-17 record, best in the American Conference of the CBA, the team is looking for a championship run this year. The Skyrockets are now 4-1 for the start of the 2007-08 season after sweeping the Rio Grande Valley Silverados this weekend. They have a commanding lead in the American Conference with a quarter point average of 5.00, more than a full quarter point ahead of the Albany Patroons.
The Skyrockets will be selling ownership percentages to those who wish to become a Limited Partner. Ownership starts at 5,000 shares for an investment of $5,000 and can be purchased at any increment of $5,000. Up to 40% of the franchise is available to Limited Partners who will receive the following benefits: - 2 Gold Season Tickets for a 3-year period - 2 Owner Exclusive Pullover Jackets - VIP access to all team events - Published recognition as a Limited Partner of the Skyrockets - Deposit of 25% secures shares with full payment made within 30 days of agreement - 2 Courtside Season Tickets for a 3-year period with ownership of 50,000 shares - Lifetime Season Ticket Holder at 100,000 shares. Subject to Partnership Agreement, those who purchase investment at $100,000 will receive 2 Gold Season Tickets at no additional cost for up to 99 years.
This local investment will allow the team to expand their marketing efforts and give the team more stability to work under. "With some local support, it will be a great year for the Skyrockets," said Joe Clark, owner of the Minot Skyrockets. "We need the support to give the club a push and to help improve our operations."
