
Minnesota Wild to Host Development Camp July 13-19

HOUSTON - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club will hold a development camp for team prospects July 13-19 at Xcel Energy Center.
The camp will focus on the development of the organization's top young prospects in both on-ice and off-ice settings. Houston Aeros Head Coach Mike Yeo and Minnesota Wild Director of Player Development Brad Bombardir will lead the on-ice sessions. The Wild's coaching staff will also meet with the players and work with them off the ice. In addition, the players will participate in daily strength and conditioning education sessions and receive nutritional instruction.
The camp will conclude with scrimmages on Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18 at Xcel Energy Center. The scrimmage on July 17 will be accessible exclusively to Wild season ticket holders. The scrimmage on July 18 will be open to the public. Both scrimmages will start at 11 a.m. Gate 1 will open at 10:30 a.m.
A total of 36 players are scheduled to attend the Wild's 2010 Development Camp including 19 selected by Minnesota in the NHL Entry Draft. Players scheduled to attend include Cody Almond, Tyler Cuma, Justin Falk, Kristopher Foucault, Colton Gillies, Nate Prosser, Marco Scandella and Casey Wellman along with five players selected in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft: Brett Bulmer, Johan Gustafsson, Johan Larsson, Dylen McKinlay and Jason Zucker.
