Minnesota Wild Recalls Michael Keranen

DES MOINES, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Michael Keranen from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Keranen, 25 (1/4/90), has recorded 32 points (9-2332) and 16 penalty minutes (PIM) in 52 games with Iowa this season. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, leads the team in assists, ranks second in scoring and shots (113) and is fourth in goals. He recorded 52 points (17-3552), 47 PIM and a plus-12 rating in 52 games for Ilves Tampere in Finland's Elite League in 2013-14. Keranen ranked tied for first in the league in scoring and tied for second in assists and received the Lasse Oksanen Award given to the best player during the regular season. He tallied 27 points (13-1427) in 56 games with Ilves in 2012-13 and collected 101 points (41-60101) and 122 PIM in 194 games during four seasons (2010-14) with Ilves.
After stops in Charlotte and Milwaukee, Iowa returns home at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24 to face Grand Rapids. It's a Taco Tuesday - presented by Taco Johns, where each fan that comes to the game receives a coupon for a free crispy beef taco from Taco Johns. It's also a two-for-one Tuesday, where fans may purchase one attack end ticket and receive a second ticket one free, sponsored by Hits 99.9 FM. Also, those who bring in a Subway receipt may purchase a $5 game ticket at the box office. Iowa is also hosting a food drive, presented by Zerorez. Fans are encouraged to bring in a canned fruit item to receive a ticket voucher to a future regular season weekday game.
The Iowa Wild 2014-15 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
