
Minnesota Swarm announces 2006 schedule

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Minnesota Swarm's 2006 National Lacrosse League (NLL) schedule was announced today. Minnesota will open the season at home against the Philadelphia Wings on Friday, January 6 at 7:00 PM.
The 2006 schedule consists of 16 games - eight at Xcel Energy Center and eight road contests. The Swarm's home schedule features three games on Friday night, three contests on Saturday night and two Sunday matches. Friday and Saturday games will start at 7:00 PM. Sunday games will start at 5:00 PM. Minnesota will play 11 games against Eastern Division teams, including Buffalo, Philadelphia and Rochester three times and Toronto twice. The Swarm will play five contests against Western Division teams: Calgary, Edmonton, Portland (twice) and San Jose.
