Miners to host "Bark in the Park"

MESA, ARIZONA -The Mesa Miners have teamed up with Black Dog Promotions to host the first ever "Bark In The Park" on Friday, July 8 at 6:35pm at HoHoKam Park in Mesa, Arizona.
This event will allow fans to bring their dogs out to the ballpark to watch the Mesa Miners take on Rickey Henderson and the San Diego Surf Dawgs. There will be a multiple contests at the game for cutest, ugliest, and best dressed dog. After the game, fans can run the bases with their leashed dog.
"The Miners provide a great sports value for fans with great ticket prices, dollar hot dogs, and great events like Bark In The Park", said Scott Kelly of Black Dog Promotions. "We look forward to working with the Miners on this unique event".
The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a voucher for a limited edition Rickey Henderson bobblehead and there will also be one dollar hot dogs at the concessions stand.
