
Miners Game at Normal Postponed

Normal, IL - The Southern Illinois Miners announce that due to inclement weather and threat of thunderstorms later in the evening, their game on Sunday, June 10th against the Normal CornBelters at The Corn Crib has been postponed.
The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader when the Miners return to Normal later this month from June 19th-21st.
Currently in first place in the Frontier League's West Division, the Miners return home to begin a six-game homestand on Tuesday night against the Joliet Slammers at Rent One Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The Southern Illinois Miners are the Frontier League's winningest franchise since debuting in 2007, winning the 2012 Frontier League Championship as well as division titles in 2010, 2014, 2015 and 2016. They have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year award three times since their inception, and also set a new Frontier League attendance record in their inaugural season.
