
Milwaukee Washes Out Riot

MILWAUKEE, WI - A pair of goals by Giuliano Oliviero and Hewerton help give the Milwaukee Wave a 16-8 victory over the Chicago Riot on Saturday night in the U.S. Cellular Arena.
Tom Oatley opened up the scoring blasting a 3 point goal with a Marcel Feenstra assist.
The Riot's Roberto Gallo received a Blue Card for pushing which led to the Wave's powerplay and a goal by Oliverio. The Wave led 5-0 at the end of the first-quarter.
The Riot's Miki Djerisilo scored a goal to lead off the second-quarter scoring. Naumoski added an additional goal for the Riot. The Wave's Olivierio and Hewerton each added a goal closing the half with a 9-4 lead.
Ian Bennett scored his second goal of the season with an assist by Tenzin Rampa. The Riot answered with a Bato Radoncic goal, with seconds left in the third-quarter the Wave were up 11-6.
The Wave started the fourth-quarter up a player as the Riots Fred Degand received a 5 minute penalty as time expired in the 3rd quarter for misconduct. The Wave ended the contest with a three-point unassisted goal by Matt Stewart.
Milwaukee plays back-to-back games again next weekend playing in Missouri on Friday night and hosting Omaha on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in the U.S. Cellular Arena0.
