Saint John Riptide News Release

The Manchester Millrats paid a visit to the Manchester Mustangs Special Olympics practice on Monday.

Elizabeth Webster, the local coordinator for the Manchester Mustangs had this to say of the players interaction with the kids:

"I just wanted to say how GREAT it was to have you guys at our practice today! Your players were OUTSTANDING with our athletes and I am very excited to work with you all regarding some community opportunities...

I am attaching the best photo I took for you to use and would be happy to talk further about how we can work together....

Thanks again it was a gift to meet you all!"

Part of the mission of the Manchester Millrats is do to good in the community, particularly as it relates to kids. If know of a youth group that would be interested in a visit by the Millrats players, please feel free to contact us at millrats@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate you!

The Millrats fly to Arecibo, Puerto Rico to face the Puerto Rico Capitanes on Friday the 8th, and then to Oklahoma to face the Lawton Fort-Sill Cavalry on Sunday the 10th. Manchester returns home for a double-header home stand on January 16th and 17th to face the Rochester RazorSharks and the Quebec Kebs.
