Millien Named to Haiti's Preliminary Gold Cup Roster

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 5, 2015) - Jacksonville Armada FC midfielder/forward Pascal Millien was named to the Haiti National Football Team preliminary 35-man 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup roster on Friday.

The preliminary roster includes fellow North American Soccer League players Steward Ceus (goalkeeper) of the Atlanta Silverbacks and James Marcelin of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers (midfielder).

Millien, who has recorded 22 international caps for Haiti, was last called in for duty in Haiti's 2-2 draw with China on March 27 in Changsha, China. He played 33 minutes in the match.

Haiti's final 23-man Gold Cup roster will be announced on June 22. The team kicks off its group stage competition at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 against Panama in Dallas, followed by matches with the U.S. Men's National Team at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10 in Boston and Honduras at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13 in Kansas City.

Millien is tied for second on the Armada FC with two goals scored and was named Farah & Farah Man of the Match last week against Carolina. He is the only player on the squad to have earned the honor twice this season, also getting the nod on May 2 in a 2-1 win over the San Antonio Scorpions after scoring a goal.

The 29-year-old native of Leogane, Haiti, has started the last six games at forward for the Armada FC and logged 490 minutes of action.
