
Mill Rats Win Road Game

(Summerside, PE): The Saint John Mill Rats presented by Rogers, won their second game in as many days, defeating the Summerside Storm 119-113 on the road.
The Storm led by as many as 8 in the first half but Saint John rallied to take a 59-55 halftime lead. Anthony Anderson led all first half scorers with 21 points. In the third quarter the Storm out scored the Mill Rats 30-20 to lead 85-79 heading into the final stanza. Then the 'Joe Posey Show' happened. Posey drained 4 three pointers in a row to bring Saint John from a deficit to the lead. Saint John executed their offense the final five minutes and hit free throws down the stretch to capture the win.
The Mill Rats are back on the hardwood on Sunday afternoon to host the Moncton Miracles at 2pm at Harbour Station. Support your team and give them a home court advantage!
The Mill Rats improve to 6-7 on the season, while Summerside drops to 7-7.
