
Mike Dell Signs with the AFL's Pittsburgh Power

Reading, Pa. (July 20, 2011) - Reading Express defensive lineman Mike Dell has signed with the Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League. Dell will suit up for the Power during this Friday night's game against the Philadelphia Soul at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Dell was a fan-favorite during his time with the Reading Express. At the year-end party, Express coaches awarded Dell with the Defensive Lineman of the Year Award. Dell picked up seven sacks during the regular season and added 39 tackles (30 solo) and two forced fumbles. In the playoffs, Dell added another 3.5 sacks and ten tackles.
This is Dell's second stint with the Power. He was in training camp with the team during the pre-season.
The Reading Express are one of the most established franchises in indoor football. In six full seasons, the team has amassed an overall record of 73-27 with five division championships, two conference titles and the 2009 AIFA National Championship. In 2011, Reading began play as a new member of the Indoor Football League. The team plays on The Reading Hospital Medical Group Field at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa.
