
Michaud sets Moose all-time scoreless streak

Manitoba Moose goaltender Alfie Michaud set a new franchise record for the longest scoreless streak tonight against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Michaud went 126 minutes and 12 seconds during the streak which extended through the last three games. The streak started on March 27 when he shutout Milwaukee for the last 37:35 of the game, then Michaud produced a 60 minute shutout performance last night in Hartford and he went another 28:37 tonight before allowing a goal to the Wolf Pack.
The Selkirk, MB native now holds two of the top three all-time Moose scoreless streak records (number three at 120:40). He broke the previous mark held by Richard Shulmistra at 121:40 during the 1998-99 season.
