Michael Larkin Earns NIFL Player Of The Week Honors

Cincinnati, OH - The National Indoor Football League has named Cincinnati Marshals wide receiver Michael Larkin Offensive Player of the Week.

The former Cincinnati St. Xavier and Miami standout finished Saturday night with nine catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns in grabbing the honors. Larkin also returned two kicks for 83 yards, including a 53-yard return for a score which sparked the Marshals' comeback in their 47-44 win over the Palm Beach Phantoms.

Larkin has moved up to seventh in the NIFL in receiving yards per game averaging 64.8 yards per game and is fifth in receptions per game, averaging 5.2 receptions per game.

Larkin becomes the second Marshals player to earn Player of the Week honors. Billy Back previously received the honor in week five for Special Teams.

Cincinnati begins a two game road trip Friday night at Tennessee. The Marshals return home on May 20 when they face the Montgomery Maulers at 7:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Arena.
