"I have decided that due to personal reasons it is time for me to leave the Miracles and be home with my family," said Micah Brand. "I have enjoyed my time here in Moncton immensely and can say there is no place like it. It has been an amazing experience getting to know the people of this community and I will cherish my time spent here."

Miracles ownership and management want to thank Micah for his contribution to the team this season and hopes he will return to the organization to finish out the 2012-2013 Season. He has been a great asset on and off the court and the Miracles will welcome him back whenever he is able to return.

The Miracles have signed 6'7 forward Cordell Jeanty in Micah's place for the time being. Jeanty is from Toronto, Ontario and played his college career at Southern Illinois. Last season Cordell played for the Quebec Kebs for the Miracles new Head Coach Dennis Truax.
