Strong Finish to Week: After dropping two games to the Loggerheads last Friday and Saturday, the Manatees came back with a vengeance by defeating the Barracudas and Seals by a combined score of 16-7. The Manatees hold sole possession of second place and are currently riding a 6-3-1 winning streak over the last ten games, and in the last 20 games have gone 13-6-1.
Hot Streaks: The Manatees are getting production from everyone on the team, with six players in double figures in points over the last ten games. Tom Kotsopoulos (8G, 10A), Oak Hewer (5G, 11A), Kevin Swider (3G, 12A), Greg LeColst (11G, 3A), Darcy Johnson (7G, 7A), and Steve Howard (1G, 11A) have provided offense from all angles.
The "Rat-Line" of Dan Donnette, Darren Cain, and Josh Liebenow honed their skills to equal effectiveness as well. Using their relentless energy and uncanny chemistry to cycle down low, they have amassed a combined 17 points combined over the past five games.
Goaltender Sean Weaver has only lost twice in his last 10 games, compiling a record of 5-2-1 in eight games and keeping the opponents at bay.

Deadly Home-Ice Advantage: The Miami Arena aura continues as the Manatees have the best home-record in the WHA2, only losing once in regulation at the Mangrove all season. The Manatees are 11 points behind the Barracudas for first-place, but the schedule is favorable with 11 home-games in the month of March.
Tailgating in Hockey?: There sure is, so make sure to join the Manatees Booster Club as they tailgate in parking lot #1 on the west side of the Miami Arena. The tailgate starts approximately at 5:30. Grill up some Seal and down some Slammers!
Post-Game Party: Seven Restaurant and Lounge is proud to host the Post-Game Party with the Manatees players. Starting approximately at 10:30, fans get one free drink with a ticket stub and one free appetizer with each table's food order.
