Miami, FL- Miami FC plays their last regular season home game on Friday night at 8:00 PM at Tropical Park Stadium. The South Floridian squad faces the Minnesota Thunder, who is tied for 10th in the league and still has an outside possibility of making it to the play-offs.

On the other hand, Miami FC is on a roll. The South Floridians have won 4 of their last 5 games, and they are in 5th place, which for the time being would represent qualifying to the playoffs in their first year of existence. Therefore, the game against the Thunder is extremely important as a victory would almost solidify a spot in the postseason.

Miami FC practiced today at 5:00 PM at Tropical Park Stadium and will spend the night at the Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel, the Official Hotel Sponsor of Miami FC. The team will relax, eat well, and focus on the game against Minnesota tomorrow night.

Minnesota Thunder (7-11-6) arrived to Miami today and practiced at Tropical Park Stadium at 4:00 PM. The last time the two teams met was in Minnesota on June 11; Minnesota won 4-1.

For forward Romario, the scoring championship is within sight. Coming off a hat trick in Miami FC's last game against Atlanta Silverbacks, where Miami FC won 7-1, the Brazilian reached 17 goals total in the season; only one goal behind Seattle Sounders forward, William Weaver.

Midfielder Diego Walsh is in the middle of a great soccer streak, scoring 4 goals in the last 4 games. "I'm happy I have found my rhythm in the most important part of the season." Walsh continued, "I love when our fans are out there supporting the team. They encourage us and give us the support we need to keep fighting and bring them back the championship," said Walsh.

This is the last opportunity for South Floridians to see Miami FC stars like Brazilians Romario and Zinho, Guatemalan Mario Rodriguez, Jamaican Sean Fraser, and Haitians Stephane Guillaume and Jamil Jean-Jacques play at Tropical Park Stadium in their last regular season match of their inaugural season.

Miami FC finishes their regular season campaign next weekend when they face the Puerto Rico Islanders on Friday, September 8, and Sunday, September 10 at the Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium.
